Well if we can win faceoffs.. maybe we can have better puck possession.. and if we have better puck possession then maybe we can have more opportunities in the other teams' zone.. and if we have more opportunities in the other teams' zone then maybe we can score more goals...

Winning a faceoff won't help if there's nobody that can score.

you can only play with the cards that you are dealt... not many teams go "hey.. we have this really good scoring winger... who wants him? maybe a 4th rounder for him?"

what other options do we have though? I would have liked to see them give Varone a chance.. But the way things are going he might get that opportunity soon anyway..

Umm, is the puck just going to jump in there on it's own? Because we seriously lack guys that are capable of putting it in there for us.

Well, it appears that Rochester is short on players currently, so this was probably more about not taking from them at the moment than it was a move for the big club overall.

Even still, this team just flabbergasts me more every day.
